Sandvik Construction is a business area within the Sandvik Group providing solutions for virtually any construction industry application, encompassing such diverse businesses as surface rock quarrying, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering. The range of products includes rock tools, drilling rigs, breakers, bulk-materials handling and crushing and screening machinery.

The Crusher Development Project Office is responsible for the NPD (New Product Development) projects within crusher development. This involves everything from the development of new products to larger updates of existing products. The project team is comprised of personnel from R&D, product lines, production, purchasing, after market and marketing. The NPD projects are responsible for the entire process, from concept to product launch. The department continually strives to develop both as a group and in terms of project methods and we invest heavily in the overall competence development of our employees.
Key performance areas
As a Project Manager within crusher development, you will have an important role in ensuring our position as a global leader in the construction industry. You will lead the development of our new and existing products in accordance with our project model, document work progress and report back to steering groups. You will build your own project teams and team spirit. This position is given opportunities to shape and influence the development work and projects.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Engineering or some other relevant education. We want someone with several years? experience in leading, planning and budgeting for projects, as well as working in product development. Experience with PROPS and/or PMP/IPMA is advantageous. You have good knowledge of MS Office, and excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
As a person you are energetic and curious, with a structured and proactive working style. You are outgoing, with a positive attitude that is well suited to both internal and global contacts. Furthermore, you have a relaxed manner of communicating with peers on all levels, and are interested in motivating people. You also have a strong interest in technology, are quality conscious and business oriented and strive to achieve established goals with good results. We prefer someone who is enthusiastic about being involved and influencing the department?s development, and who is open to change. It is very important that you are flexible and have the ability to take initiative.
