Computer Hardware Manufacturers See Profits in the Health Care IT Upgrade Initiatives
Just when you thought the IT industry in Washington DC would collapse, President Obama?s administration has discovered something for them to do. During the Bush administration they upgraded all the Information Technology systems for the military to help on the war on terror. This put nearly everyone to work in the industry, and there was actually a shortage of Information Technology people. The technical colleges, online programs, and all the major universities were pumping out people as fast as they could to meet the demand.
Many Washington DC suburbs are filled with Information Technology Professionals, working for various government agencies, and a good many of them in the military industrial complex. President Bush believed that healthcare money could be saved if the industry brought in better computer efficiencies.
This also means that all of the hospitals and all the government run healthcare services will have to upgrade all their computer hardware systems.
This will be huge boon for the manufacturers of this computer hardware and it will all be paid for with taxpayer?s money. Is my hope that these IT systems will get so good, along with software manufacturers, that we will be able to create artificial intelligent decision-making machines, which we will no longer need anybody working in government and we can let computers run our government.
Surely, they will be honest, won?t complain, don?t need pensions, and they don?t need health care. This will save the US taxpayer all the money that they spent investing in the Information Technology sector in Washington DC previously. Please consider all this.
