Some Thoughts On The Left's Chick-Fil-A Debacle

The left's intolerance of any point of view that diverges from the tenets of its amoral, materialistic, morally relativistic, collectivist, Marxist orthodoxy, is nothing new.

For holding such "divergent views" they would diagnose you as having a mental disorder, and be summarily shipped to the Siberian Gulag, in Stalin's USSR; you will be imprisoned for years In Castro's "Paradise of the Proletariat"; and Mao, being the pragmatist, just simply shot you in the head, and thus decreased the Chinese "surplus population".

This typical intolerance to any other points of views, beliefs, and or opinions that are contrary to the Marxist orthodoxy, are in themselves not compatible with, and anathema to, our Freedom of Speech, our Freedom of Conscience, and our First Amendment Rights enshrined in our Constitution, and are therefore incompatible with the principles of our Founding Fathers and our American values.

So much for those on the left espousing such leftist intolerance, who then have the audacity of whining and protesting they are as American as you and I and apple pie! Yeah, right!

Such is former Obama Chief of Staff Rham Emmanuel - in my opinion one of the most despicable human beings to ever disgrace this earth (no wonder he got elected Mayor of Chicago) - who called for the banning of all Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Chicago, on account of the fast food chain's CEO, Dan Cathy, having publicly expressed his views in support of traditional marriage, something that the pro-gay agenda leftists view and categorize as "bigotry" and "hate speech", in blatant violation of Mr. Cathy's First Amendment Constitutional right to express his personal views and opinions without fear of coercion and or intimidation! But then, those who espouse leftist views are non too keen on our Constitution, are they!

The vicious barrage of ad hominem attacks and epithets against Dan Cathy in the lame stream media; strident calls for the banning of all Chick-Fil-A restaurants in their cities by Democratic Mayors such as Rham Emmanuel, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray - who called it "Hate chicken", and others; and the calls of boycott of the restaurant chain by the left; have been shrill and deafening.

Yet, to the left's chagrin, regular folks, appalled by such attacks on one of our most fundamental freedoms, our Freedom of Speech, have rallied in support of the Chick-Fil-A restaurants, and yesterday, August 1st, Americans of all walks of life turned up in droves and lined up outside the doors of Chick-Fil-A restaurants everywhere in order to buy their products, in response to the call on Twitter and the social network media to make of the day "Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day".

It was an astounding success that broke all sale records! Dan Cathy must be proud that he stood by his personal convictions and principles, and that he was not coy in exercising his First Amendment rights when asked about the subject of gay marriage, even as he smirks all the way to the bank. Good for him!

The left's response, on the other hand, were Bill Ayers' Weather Underground-styled bomb threats in West Virginia, and the "Communist News Network's (CNN)" despicable jab at Sarah Palin, by CNN Sunday Morning anchor, Randy Kaye, playing a song by Pink with the words "stupid girls" while showing a clip of Palin and her husband at a Chick-Fil-A restaurant eating some of their chicken in support of the embattled chain. But then, what else can you expect from the intolerant left, and a CNN leftist bimbo? Later a grudging CNN issued a half-hearted apology disingenuously alleging the choice of music for the intro had been unintentional... As if anyone would believe them!

The warning to all Americans from this unsavory incident, is that while the left and the Marxist ideologues (such as the one in the White House), take advantage of our Freedom of Speech, and our other freedoms, to openly advocate for their godless, amoral, collectivist, materialism; yet, they will ironically suppress and negate those selfsame freedoms once they have clout and or power! It is time we stop being naive, and realize that by allowing them to spew their Marxist venom we allow them to erode our Constitution and our liberties!

On the other hand, one may as well say, tongue-in-cheek, that in this increasingly hedonistic world, where the cliche of "Money Makes the World Go `Round" rings more true every day, and where even the pragmatic Chinese communists, though dogmatically Maoists, have had no choice but to become economic capitalists in order for the economy of China not to implode; that the unprecedented success that the Chick-Fil-A restaurants have enjoyed on account of this controversy fabricated by the left and the gay agenda, may well spur other restaurant chains to copycat them, especially in this dismal Obama economy.

And so, we may well see McDonalds come out in support of traditional marriage, fire gay Ronald the clown, and replace the Big Mac with the more heterosexually defined "Mac Macho " in order to cash in on the Chick-Fil-A success; the same way that in the past McDonalds has tried to cash in on, and has swayed to, every new fad and trend; from wraps, burritos, and other Mexican food items, to lattes, frappes, low-carb foods, and wilted tasteless salads, in their menus. Ha!

It is only a jest, but in this crazy topsy-turvy world of today, anything can happen!
