Food trucks
Seems like every inch of New York City space is in demand. The New York Post reported that Sage Realty is now leasing prime street real estate to food trucks for $150 a day.
The rentable docking area is located at 777 Third Avenue at 48th Street, and a rotation of 10 trucks will occupy that space.
The Post notes that leasing out street space to food trucks is a trend, as well as a relief for a growing number of food trucks, which have faced fights of late over spots and parking tickets. As previously reported, the manager at nearby 2 Park Avenue ?had requested a No Standing zone near the building to prevent food trucks from setting up shop there.
