Fourth Quarter

The Buffs' first drive of the fourth quarter ends in another punt.

Washington adds to its lead with a touchdown from Price to Asutin Seferian-Jenkins. The Huskies lead 31-3.

The Buffs are unable to answer and punt again.

Washington scores again with 5:01 remaining and goes up 38-3.?

CU turns to its third quarterback of the game as John Schrock enters. The Buffs moved the ball a bit, but Malcolm Creer fumbled - CU's fifth turnover of the game - and Washington recovered.

Third Quarter

Washington is forced to punt on its opening drive of the second half, but a botched recovery leads to the Huskies taking over again on the CU 35. Washington capitalizes with a 17-yard touchdown strike from Keith Price to Kasen Williams. The PAT is good and the Huskies lead 14-0 early in the third quarter..

On third-and-10 for the Buffs, Jordan Webb fumbles under pressure and Washington recovers at the CU 28. It was CU's fourth turnover of the game.

Two plays later Keith Price hits Kendyl Taylor for a 23-yard touchdown. With the converted PAT, Washington leads 21-0 with 9:22 left in the third.

CU's Marques Mosley offers a spark for the Buffs, returning the kickoff to the Washington 40.?

Colorado gets on the board with a field goal by Will Oliver.?The drive was kept alive by a pass interference penalty on 4th and six, but a touchdown was also taken off the board for the Buffs by a holding penalty.?

Washington connects for a field goal to push the lead to 24-3.?

Second Quarter

The Huskies are driving to start the second quarter. The Huskies got inside the CU 5-yard line, but Bishop Sankey fumbled and Jon Major recovered at the CU 2.

Connor Wood helped the Buffs get out of their own end zone, but then threw a deep pass that was intercepted by Sean Parker. Washington takes over. On third-and-6 Chidera Uzo-Diribe sacks Washington QB Keith Price. On the ensuing punt Washington fumbles the snap, but still gets the punt off. CU takes over on its own 22.

Jordan Webb has replaced Connor Wood at quarterback for the Buffs. Webb moves the chains a bit, but a strange QB sneak on first-and-10, put the Buffs behind and they were forced to punt again.

Washington srikes first with a play-action pass from Price to Cody Bruns for a short TD. The PAT is good and the Huskies lead 7-0 with 1:02 remaining in the first half.?

CU is unable to get on the board before halftime and Washington goes into the locker room with a 7-0 lead.

First quarter

The Buffs opened the game with Wood under center and went three-and-out on their first possession.

An unnecessary roughness penalty hurt the Huskies and they, too, went three-and-out on their first drive.

The Buffs continue to struggle and after failing to get a first down, they commit a 15-yard penalty on the punt (for the second time), giving Washington good field possession for their second drive of the game. The Huskies will start at the CU 39.

A costly penalty cost Washington a first down and eventually left the Huskies with a fourth-and-8 which they failed to convert. CU takes over on its own 37 with just over 6 minutes left in the first quarter.

The Buffs notch the first first down of the game on a pass from Connor Woood to Gerald Thomas. Two plays later Wood floated a pass up for grabs and Shaq Thompson intercepted it, giving the Huskies the ball on their 41.

Two plays later Ray Polk was flagged for a late hit, turning a 13-yard gain into a 26-yard gain for Washington. CU's Derrick Webb was also hurt on the play. The Huskies were unable to punch it in from the 13 or gain a first down and elected to kick a field goal. Travis ?Coons hit the upright on the 31-yard attempt and the score remains 0-0.

CU took over on its own 20 and Christian Powell promtly rushed for a 13-yard gain. On fourth-and 1 at their own 41, the Buffs failed to convert.
