Hypnotherapist Treats Fears and Phobias Online

Hypnotherapist Mary Beth Hazeldine has found the perfect way to take care of her clients: the Internet. She first launched the idea of treating people over the Web as a way to help her clients more quickly, conveniently and inexpensively, but the idea has spread and she now treats most of her clients using Skype or the telephone. ?The client is more relaxed in their own home,? she said in response to sceptics. ?It means I am able to treat somebody when they most need help. If a client has a fear of public speaking, they can have a therapy session over the Internet just before their presentation or, if they are suffering from a fear of flying, just before they take a flight.? Mary Beth?s specialty is to treat fears and phobias, stress and anxiety, sleeping disorders and depression. She can even help smokers quit. As for the actual hypnosis part, she says that being hypnotised is more like meditating, and there is no reason to fear being ?stuck in a trance? should the Internet or phone cut out.
