A: A convertible crib begins as a standard sized crib and then converts into a toddler bed, daybed and full sized headboard as the child grows.? Some families enjoy this flexibility and others would rather have a standard crib that does not convert.

Q:? Do all cribs come equipped with the same features?
A:? No. They all have different types of wood, finishes, may be of a different size (although you want to ensure that the infant mattress fits snugly in the crib and that there are no gaps on the side), convertible versus standard, different designs, etc.
